Jacey Langston, LMSW
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with authenticity and self-compassion. I believe therapy should be an authentic and supportive space where clients can show up exactly as they are. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the core of my practice, as I believe it’s the foundation for meaningful growth and healing. I am committed to creating a safe and empowering environment for all clients. I approach my work through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the impact that past experiences have on present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to meet each client where they are—with empathy, understanding, and a deep respect for their individual journey—while creating a safe and empowering environment for healing and self-discovery.
Focused Therapeutic Approaches
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy designed to help individuals manage difficult emotions, reduce conflict in relationships, and build a life worth living. DBT focuses on balancing acceptance and change, teaching practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to support healthier coping and decision-making.
Mindfulness Based Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps clients slow down their internal chaos and notice thoughts and emotions without getting dragged around by them. By using breathing, grounding, and present-moment awareness, clients learn to observe rather than react. This approach reduces anxiety, improves emotional regulation, and builds a steadier, more intentional way of responding to life’s stressors.
Areas of Interest
Agoraphobia
Living with agoraphobia can make the world feel small and overwhelming at the same time. Everyday tasks turn into uphill battles, and the fear of panic or being “trapped” can steal your freedom. In therapy, we rebuild that freedom step by step—strengthening safety, confidence, and choice so you can move through life without fear calling the shots. Telehealth appointments are offered.
Chronic Pain
Chronic pain affects far more than the body—it wears down your energy, mood, relationships, and sense of control. It’s exhausting to fight something that never seems to let up. In therapy, we focus on reclaiming that control by managing stress, understanding pain cycles, and building practical strategies so your life isn’t defined—or limited—by what hurts.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
PTSD can make the past feel painfully present—memories, triggers, and hypervigilance crashing in long after the danger is gone. It’s exhausting to live on edge. In therapy, we work to restore safety, process what happened without reliving it, and rebuild trust in yourself and the world so you can move forward without trauma steering your life.

Schedule a Consult Today!
I offer free, no pressure, 15-minute consultations. Let’s chat first before deciding to schedule your first therapy appointment. I often tell my clients, my role isn’t to be your counselor. My role is to promote your mental wellness and if that means being your counselor or finding a counselor who would be a best fit for you then I more than happy to do so. Stepping into the therapeutic process can bring up a lot of unsure or anxious feelings. Let me help you navigate those first steps! Call or text to set up your consultation.
